Celebrating a Decade of Leadership: Jeff Pickering’s 10 Years of Impact

Congratulations to Jeff Pickering for his 10 years of service as Indian River Community Foundation’s President and CEO.  Jeff relocated his family to Vero Beach, Florida from Bakersfield, California in 2015 to assume this leadership role. Since then, the Community Foundation has grown to more than $100 million in assets, while distributing $140 million in grants to charitable causes ranging from the arts and the environment to those meeting the needs of vulnerable individuals and families in our community.  In 2024, Jeff received the Richardson Spirit Award from the United Way of Indian River County and the Pinnacle Award from the Indian River Estate Planning Council and the Planned Giving Council of Indian River. He credits generous clients, trusted nonprofit partners, and knowledgeable, service-minded team members for these achievements. Please join the Foundation in celebrating Jeff's 10 years of impact.
