Indian River Community Foundation grants $20,000 to Vero Beach Dog Park.  The grant will be used toward further improvements to the Vero Beach Dog Park property which the VBDP leases from the City.  Improvements include increasing accessibility to seniors and persons with limited mobility in the small dog area by constructing an accessible path from the south parking area to a new trellised pergola that will replace the temporary awnings currently there.  The new pergola has been designed by an architect and cited by a landscape architect to take advantage of magnificent views of the Indian River Lagoon.
