Community Foundation Awards $110,000 to 5 Nonprofits

Indian River Community Foundation awarded grants totaling $110,000 to five nonprofit charitable organizations serving Indian River County. The grants were reviewed by a Grants Committee comprised of volunteers Suzanne Bertman, Shutonna McGriff, Dawn Michael, and Ken Mindt.

The grants were awarded from the Community Enrichment Fund and included the following:

• $30,000 to Tykes & Teens for the Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Program
• $25,000 to Ballet Vero Beach for Education and Engagement Initiatives
• $25,000 to Crossover Mission for the Accelerate My Potential Program
• $20,000 to Coastal Connections for the STEAM Education Program
• $10,000 to Bike Walk for the Bike Walk Rehab Program
