Community Foundation Awards Matching Grants Totaling $77,000
Indian River Community Foundation continues to award multiple matching grants to local organizations from the Community Enrichment Fund.
Matching grants are funds conditional on the nonprofit's ability to raise an equivalent amount of funds. This type of grant allows Indian River Community Foundation to double the impact of the grant awarded.
The following organizations were recently awarded matching grants:
- $50,000 to The Buggy Bunch for their Family Education Center
- $15,000 to Old Vero Ice Age Sites Committee for the Sexton Excavation Site
- $12,000 to Vero Beach Theatre Guild for their Facility Enhancement Project
