Community Foundation, Vero Beach Magazine Publish Guide to Better Giving 2021
Indian River Community Foundation and Vero Beach Magazine have collaborated once again to produce the annual Guide to Better Giving. The Guide inspires and informs our generous readers about local charities who work hard to better our community.
This year’s edition highlights the impact of a community that works together to improve the lives of those in need. New facilities like United Against Poverty’s UP Center and the Cis and Bill Glavin Educational Center are a result of those combined efforts. The new buildings make it possible for organizations to provide top notch educational programs and healthy resources to a wider scope within the county.
Everyone’s favorite part of the guide, Success Stories, provides specific examples of people in our community who have been directly affected by enriching nonprofit programs. Local children, young adults, families, and seniors all share the ways in which nonprofits have helped them overcome recent hardships. This glimpse into the lives of vulnerable individuals and families often sparks acts of generosity and kindness in our community, these stories reaffirm the progress a generous community can accomplish.
This year’s guide can be found in the October 2020 edition of the Vero Beach Magazine. Please click here to read the digital edition of the Guide to Better Giving.
