Community Foundation & Vero Beach Magazine Publish Guide to Better Giving 2025

Indian River Community Foundation and Vero Beach Magazine have collaborated once again to produce the annual Guide to Better Giving. The Guide to Better Giving provides donors and volunteers with the ability to “know before you give” your time, talent or treasure.

Stories of impactful people and organizations in Indian River County provide us with important examples of how community leaders and generous families collaborate to make Indian River County a true community. This year’s edition includes information about more than 100 local nonprofit organizations. All of these local charities depend on financial support to carry out their missions and meet the needs of everyone in our community.

Everyone’s favorite part of the guide, Success Stories, provides specific examples of people in our community who have been directly affected by enriching nonprofit programs. Local children, young adults, families, and seniors all share the ways in which nonprofits have helped them overcome recent hardships. This glimpse into the lives of vulnerable individuals and families often sparks acts of generosity and kindness in our community, these stories reaffirm the progress a generous community can accomplish.
