Groundbreaking Event

Vero Beach Rowing held a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off the construction of the new boathouse. After a year-long fundraising effort and many generous donors, Vero Beach Rowing was able to raise the $2.2 of the $2.5 million dollar needed to begin construction. The new boathouse will serve as a central location for the organization and a place to store all the rowing boats and equipment. Indian River Community Foundation currently holds the construction fund for Vero Beach Rowing and will continue to support the organization. Partnerships like this one are one example of how our community is better with help from IRCF.
