Hurricane Milton: How to Help
To help alleviate widespread catastrophic effects from Hurricane Milton and to encourage more donations, Indian River Community Foundation is giving $1 million to the United Way of Indian River County's Disaster Response and Recovery Fund. As part of United Way’s ongoing commitment to building resilient, equitable communities, the Disaster Response and Recovery Fund will help our local United Way meet urgent storm-related needs and aid in the long-term recovery process across the hardest-hit regions.
You can participate and lend your support in the following ways:
Give through your Donor Advised Fund
- Make a grant from your donor advised fund to Indian River Community Foundation for the purpose of hurricane relief and recovery. All dollars donated will be delivered to the United Way of Indian River County to support efforts benefitting Indian River County residents affected by the storm.
Give Online
- Make a tax-deductible donation directly to the United Way of Indian River County's Disaster Response and Recovery Fund here.
