IRCF Awards Grants from the Proven Programs Fund

On April 21st, Indian River Community Foundation awarded Senior Resource Association, The ARC of Indian River County, and The Hope for Families Center $25,000 each from the Proven Programs Fund. Each of these organizations address a high-priority community need and have made a commitment to long-term sustainability. These grants will be renewed in perpetuity as long as the organizations continue delivering meaningful results that prevent the most adverse outcomes associated with community needs. This index for good and the amount of dollars it distributes will grow over time and is intended to help support long-term financial sustainability. For good. Forever.

The Proven Programs Fund was established as part of the Giving Forward Initiative. The purpose of Indian River Community Foundation’s Proven Programs Fund is to support and sustain a portfolio of nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that operate programs that are proven to deliver measurable, meaningful results to vulnerable children, adults, or seniors in Indian River County. Proven Programs Fund grantees operate programs that align with improvement in one or more indicators associated with the following fields of interest: health, education, economic opportunity, and housing.
