Raising a Glass to Collaboration: IRCF’s End of Season Celebratory Toast

Scott & Gail Alexander and Jeff Pickering

Indian River Community Foundation celebrated another impactful season with local professional advisors at the Women's Club of Vero Beach on May 7, 2025.

Held in a spirit of appreciation and reflection, the evening brought together estate planners, financial advisors, attorneys, and other professionals who have partnered with IRCF throughout the years to help clients create meaningful charitable legacies. Their guidance and trust help transform philanthropic intentions into lasting community impact. The event carried an added layer of purpose: sharing an example of what’s possible when community and philanthropy come together.

Guests enjoyed a brief presentation on the Women's Club of Vero Beach restoration project. Not only a historic building, the Women's Club of Vero Beach is a nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to promoting friendship among all women in Indian River County, hosting educational activities, providing charitable outreach to the community, and preserving the historic landmark building for 110 years. This restoration project not only preserves a piece of our local history but also strengthens community identity and engagement for generations to come.

Since 2008, Indian River Community Foundation has carried out a mission of building a better community through donor driven philanthropy by working closely with professional advisors to help clients make a meaningful charitable impact. Together, we have distributed more than $130 million in grants to make our community better, and we are committed to doing much more in the future.
