Turning Anger Into Accomplishment

A group of frustrated Indian River County moms and dads worked with the City of Vero Beach to resurrect three major public playgrounds in the city – first Humiston Park, then Riverside Park, and now Troy Moody Park. They started the non-profit GoPlayVero as a Fund of the Indian River Community Foundation to raise money to purchase the playground equipment. The City agreed to do the site-work, installation, and future upkeep.
