Community Foundation 2025 Annual Report
Indian River Community Foundation finished a strong fiscal year on June 30, 2025 by reaching $100 million in assets, a historic milestone that coincided with Indian River County’s centennial. This is an aspirational goal our entire community deserves credit for achieving, made possible by generations of people like you giving back to causes you care about.
The 200 charities that make up the core of Indian River County’s nonprofit sector work tirelessly . . . to respond to natural disasters and prevent environmental catastrophes . . . to provide medical, dental, and behavioral health care to all . . . to educate the next generation . . . to alleviate poverty and create economic opportunity . . . to house the homeless . . . to honor veterans . . . to accompany seniors . . . and to enrich our lives with vibrant arts and culture.
Last year, together with our clients, the Community Foundation awarded more than $16 million in grants to support these efforts, bringing our cumulative grantmaking to almost $150 million. We are proud of these investments, and there is still much more work to do. Whatever inspires you to give or get involved . . . give . . . get involved! It will make an impact. The future of our community depends on it.
